Corporate M&A Associate

As their Corporate Practice continues to grow, they’re looking for a Corporate M&A Associate with 4–7 years of experience in M&A, venture capital, and complex corporate transactions to join their collegial, team-centric environment.

About the Role
As a Corporate M&A Associate, you’ll play a key role in executing a broad range of corporate matters, from structuring and negotiating transactions to advising on governance and regulatory issues. You’ll work closely with clients across industries and contribute immediately to strategic legal work.

Responsibilities

·      Draft and negotiate transaction documents for mergers, acquisitions, and venture financings

·      Advise clients on corporate structuring, joint ventures, and business combinations

·      Support equity investments and capital raises

·      Conduct due diligence and manage deal flow from start to close

·      Counsel clients on governance and compliance issues

·      Collaborate cross-functionally with internal legal teams and practice groups

Requirements

·      4–7 years of corporate transactional experience in a law firm setting

·      JD from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership

·      Strong background in M&A and venture capital

·      Experience in private equity, securities law, or emerging companies is a plus

·      Exceptional drafting, analytical, and client communication skills

·      Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-driven work style
