To maintain efficiency and high-quality standards, they are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement strategies, optimize supplier relationships, and drive cost-effective purchasing initiatives.

 

Position Overview

The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company’s procurement operations, ensuring that all materials, components, and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with production requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive international sourcing experience, strong negotiation skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with global suppliers.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices.

·       Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with domestic and international suppliers to support manufacturing operations.

·       Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to drive cost savings and ensure on-time delivery.

·       Oversee supplier performance, managing risk, quality, and compliance with company standards.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to align purchasing decisions with operational needs.

·       Monitor market trends, industry developments, and global supply chain risks to optimize procurement strategies.

·       Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and trade requirements.

·       Manage and mentor a small purchasing team to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

·       5+ years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

·       Proven expertise in international sourcing and supplier management

·       Strong negotiation, contract management, and cost-reduction skills

·       Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and procurement analytics

·       Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.
