Process Technician – Injection Molding
Our client is a globally recognized injection molder specializing in precision injection molded components and assemblies for the medical device, pharmaceutical and automotive industries and others. As they continue to grow, they’re looking for additional Injection Molding Process Technicians to join empowered, collaborative team.
About the Role
As an Injection Molding Process Technician, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting injection molding machines and related equipment to ensure consistent part quality and efficient production. This role requires strong technical knowledge, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
• Perform start-up, shutdown, and changeover of injection molding equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve processing issues to minimize downtime and scrap
• Monitor and adjust process parameters to ensure part quality
• Work with engineering and quality to implement process improvements
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records
What You Bring
• 2+ years of experience in injection molding or plastics manufacturing
• Familiarity with molding machines, robotics, and auxiliary equipment
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety
• Ability to read blueprints and use inspection tools (calipers, micrometers)
• Experience with scientific molding a plus.
Location: At our client’s Central Vermont manufacturing facility.
